At our 47th Annual Meeting, we featured the life of Nahant resident Thomas Roland. From 1883 to 1929, he was a cultivator of orchids, roses, acaceas, and many other local plant species, and was regarded by the Massachusetts Horticultural Society as ‘America’s Best Plantsman'.
